Obituary of Joan Triscari

Joan Triscari, 95, of Jamestown, NY, passed away at 2:39 AM Tuesday, November 24, 2020 in Warren Manor, Warren, PA. An area resident since coming to the United States as a war bride in 1946, she was born September 6, 1925 in Manchester, England. Before her retirement years, she was employed as a teacher's aide for the Jamestown Public Schools working at Bush School for many years. In earlier years she had worked for the Post Journal. She was a member of the St. Luke's Episcopal Church and was active with the war brides cosmopolitan club and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Joan's number one priority in her life was caring for her children. She was a proud English immigrant and a proud American citizen. She will be remembered for her love of dancing at the VFW and when her children were in school taking part in the Fletcher School children's plays. Surviving are her four children; Debra Triscari, Keith Triscari, Joni Landy, Kevin Triscari all of Jamestown, eight grandchildren; Toria Hite, Megan Triscari, Keith McNeal, Suzanne McNeal, Shaun Sprankle, Stacey Storer, Mickey O'Connell, Brianne McCarty, and eight great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Anthony Triscari who died in 1966 and a son, Brian Triscari who died July 7, 2018. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed. Inurnment will be in the Lake View Cemetery.
