Obituary of Carol A. Johnson

Carol A. Johnson, 80, formerly of 364 Broadhead Avenue and 8 Crane Street, died Monday December 28, 2020, in Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing. She was born April 16, 1940, in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Howard and Thelma Hanson Johnson. She was a 1957 graduate of Falconer High School and later graduated from Jamestown Business College. Prior to her retirement she was employed by Kingsview Paving and earlier had worked for JS Auto Supply as credit manager. Following retirement she served as a foster grandmother at Fletcher Elementary School for 10 years. Carol was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where she had taught Sunday school for many years and was a 50 year member of the Jamestown Area Girl Scouts. Surviving is a sister Joyce Erickson of Lakewood and three cousins Janet, Paulette and Edward Beckers all of Bay City, MI. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother in law Raymond Erickson. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
