Obituary of Jayme C. Sauder

Jayme C. Sauder, 40, of Lakewood, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 22, 2021, in UPMC Chautauqua. An area resident since moving to Jamestown in 2016, he was born April 10, 1980 in Middlebury, VT, a son of James "Jim" Sauder and the late Wendy Whaley Sauder. Following high school he continued his education at Elmira College where earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business and Psychology. Jayme was currently working as a Software Engineer for Brigham & Women's & Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. Being able to work from home he enjoyed spending his time with his children and building things. He was an avid baseball fan and loved collecting baseball cards. Jayme was known for his infectious smile and bone crushing hugs. He and his family attended First Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife of 15 years, Shannon M. Lee Sauder whom he married June 26, 2005, his three beloved children; Jameson, Parker and Katherine Sauder, his father, James "Jim" Sauder of Goshen, VT, and his brother, Ryan Sauder of Boston, MA. He was preceded in death by his mother Wendy Whaley Sauder. A private family service will be held in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Daniel S. Rumfelt of First Lutheran Church will officiate.
