Michael E. Flynn, Sr., 76, of 19 Johnson Street, died in his home surrounded by family on Tuesday January 26, 2021, Mike was born August 6, 1944, in Cambridge, NY, a son of the late Willard and Marjorie Tate Flynn. He graduated from Cambridge High School and left the family farm to serve in the in the US Air Force from 1962-66 with a year's tour of duty in Korea. He worked most of his adult life as a butcher. First for Tops Market in Buffalo, then as the owner of My Three Son's Meat Market, and later for Quality Markets. Everyone that had the pleasure to meet Mike behind the counter commented on his ready smile and funny stories. During the season, he processed deer for hundreds of hunters and made some of the best sausage in Western New York. Mike will be remembered by his friends and family as a loving and dedicated father, a hard worker, a black powder enthusiast, a scout leader, a Buffalo Bills fan, a patriot, a proud veteran, and an avid lover of the three greatest things in life - Westerns, Coffee, and Ice Cream. He will be missed dearly. The world has less light without him in it. Our family would like to thank Hospice for their love and care over the past year. Thanks especially to Laurie, Amy and Julie.
