Obituary of June M. Seiberg

June M. Seiberg, 87, formerly of Davis Road in Mayville, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Absolut Care of Westfield. She was the widow of John "Gibby" Seiberg, whom she married August 26, 1950 and who died April 3, 1998. June was born September 2, 1933 in the family home in Randolph, NY, a daughter of the late Thomas and Doris Derby Cave. In earlier years, she was employed by Chautauqua Provisions, Hellman's, Lawson's Furniture, and the former Super Duper Grocery as a baker. She also cleaned several homes and was a mail carrier. She was a dedicated member of Open Meadows United Methodist Church where she served as an organist and was a Sunday School Teacher. She especially enjoyed baking for their God's Portion Sale Her other memberships included the North Harmony Senior Citizens, Goodwill Club and United Methodist Women. June will be sadly missed by family and friends. Surviving are five children: Ronald M. Seiberg of Mayville, Dwight D. Seiberg and Debbie Pringle, both of Clearwater, FL, Janet Hadley of Ashville, Pat (Phil) Eimers of Hudson, FL; thirteen grandchildren: Jason (Vicki) Seiberg, Todd Seiberg, Kristopher, Kira, Kylah and Karl (Tabitha) Seiberg, Matthew, Mark (Misty), John (Theresa Green) and Casey Hadley, Jennifer (Billy) Eschenbach, and Aaron (Jenn) and Bryan Marsh; eighteen great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren; also, two sisters: Barbara Healey of Lakewood and Linda Cave-Nobles of Ashville. She had several nieces and nephews who loved her very much. In addition to her husband John, June was preceded in death a brother, Donald Cave and her son-in-law, Leo Hadley. Visitation will not be held at this time. A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced at a later date. Inurnment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to the North Harmony or Magnolia United Methodist Church, or to the North Harmony Senior Citizens Center.
