Obituary of Lyla E. Spitz

Lyla E. Spitz, 11, went to heaven on Wednesday May 12, 2021, from her home at 152 Cook Avenue, surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 14, 2009, in Poltava, Ukraine and was brought to this country by her forever parents David and Summer Buchholz Spitz. Lyla was a jokester who loved to smile, laugh, swim, play with magnets, watch Youtube, sing, dance and go for rides. Her favorite singer was Katy Perry, favorite song was "Never Enough" and favorite foods were popsicles and Ramen Noodles. Some may have seen Lyla's circumstances as limited, but she squeezed every drop out of life and made those around her better for having known her. Surviving besides her loving parents are her siblings Taylor (Abel), Conor (Megan), Nick (Bri), Owen, Belle, Gavin and Sara and two nieces Evelyn and Maeve. Friends will be received from 3-5 p.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. A private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
