Obituary of Crystal D. Woodye

Crystal D. Woodye, 57, of Lakewood, passed away peacefully June 6, 2021, in her home surrounded by her loved ones after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born February 9, 1964, in Jamestown. Crystal was employed by Walgreens as a shift lead for quite some time. She loved making crafts and selling them at craft shows. She was a strong, vibrant, classy woman that everyone loved to be around because she made you laugh with her sense of humor and always spoke the truth. She always put everyone else's needs ahead of her own. She loved Christmas time. To her Christmas was all year around. She would start shopping for next year's Christmas the day after the current Christmas. Crystal enjoyed family cookouts, holidays, and vacation time. She loved her family very much. Her husband was her soulmate for the last 18 years and he gave her the fairytale ending she deserved. She was a "mom" to everyone! She will be loved and dearly missed by everyone who knew her. Crystal is survived by her husband Henry Woodye; six children Joey (Erin) Weise, Jody (Nathan Roseman) Weise, Christine (Ethan Crischton) Weise all of Jamestown, Penny (Mike) Privitera of Colorado, Cody (Jenn Griffith) Risley of Gerry and Crystalee Pena of Lakewood; her father and step mother Ronald and Linda Huntington of Texas; five siblings Amber Wiliams of Arizona, Ron Huntington and Missy Huntington both of Jamestown and Erica Whirley and Garrett Huntington both of Texas; nineteen grandchildren; one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 4-6 p.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care, 20 W. Fairmount Avenue, Lakewood, NY 14750. You may leave words of condolence and www.lindfuneralhome.com.
