Obituary of Florence M. Crawford

Florence M. Crawford, 83, formerly of Swede Rd. Ashville, NY, passed away at 1:20 pm Monday, August 2, 2021, in the Rouse Home, Youngsville, PA. A lifelong area resident, she was born January 14, 1938, in Jamestown, NY, a daughter of the late Louis H. and Ethel Conklin Vine. Florence was a 1956 graduate of Falconer High School. In previous years she was employed by the former McKallor Drug Company and was also employed in the deli of Quality Markets for several years. In earlier years she attended the Watts Flats United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed bowling with her late husband in the War Vets Bowling League. Surviving are her two children; Steven M. (Nicole) Crawford, Linda E. Crawford both of Panama, NY, three grandchildren; Renee E. (Bobby Holland) Jimenez of Jamestown, Corey M. (Stephanie) Crawford of Sherman, NY, Zachary A. (Jenelle) Crawford of Clymer, NY, seven great grandchildren, Chase Davis, Collin Crawford, Emmersen Crawford, Isaiah Jimenez, Amaya Jimenez, Kayra Jimenez, Kendrick Holland, a brother, Roger M. Vine of Jamestown, a sister, Carol Vakoutis of Clymer, NY, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clifford L. Crawford whom she married September 7, 1962, and who died May 2, 2001, and three brothers, Frank Vine, William Vine and Howard Vine The funeral will be held at 11:00 am Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 5-7 pm Thursday in the funeral home.
