Obituary of Linda F. Miller

Linda F. Miller, 73, of Lakewood, NY, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at the Lutheran Home & Rehabilitation Center. She was the widow of Sherwin S. "Bud" Miller who died January 18, 2015. Linda was born November 2, 1947 in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of the late Howard and Christina Brown Kamholz, and was a graduate of Kensington High School. In earlier years, she worked as a legal secretary in Buffalo. Linda was always very interested in and involved with animal rescue, especially dogs, and particularly Afghan hounds. She loved her garden and rural living. She was also a great collector of doll houses and Phantom of the Opera memorabilia. Surviving are two brothers: David Kamholz of Westcliffe, CO and Marc Kamholz of West Falls, NY; and five nieces and nephews: Nora Kamholz, Colden Kamholz, Christopher Kamholz, Jessica Kamholz and Ryan Kamholz. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Chapel at Sunset Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Daniel S. Rumfelt will officiate. Visitation will not be observed.
