Obituary of Randall Keith Mesler

Randall K. Mesler, Jr. 22, of Jamestown, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 2, 2021. A lifelong area resident, he was born June 14, 1999, in Jamestown, NY, a son of Randall K. Mesler, Sr. and Karla Lamberson Gutknecht Randy was a 2017 graduate of Jamestown High School and had a keen interest in auto mechanics. He enjoyed fixing cars for his family and friends. He loved spending time with his family, especially his sisters and brother. Surviving is his mother and stepfather, Karla and Tim Gutknecht of Jamestown, his father, Randy K. Mesler, Sr. of Jamestown, his daughter, Layla Mesler of Falconer, NY, three sisters, Shyann Mesler, Paige Mesler both of Falconer, NY, Ellen Mesler of Lakewood, NY, a brother, Kieth Mesler of Sinclairville, NY, his grandparents, Christine and Ray Mesler of Gerry, NY, Debbie Hume of Mich., as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sharon Meyers-Tveter and his grandfather, Adam Hume. A private family service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jamestown Community Chapel Recovery Program, 35 Camp St. Jamestown, NY 14701.
