Obituary of Henry L. Diers

In loving memory of Henry Lee Diers (Bubby) of Jamestown, New York, who passed away Sept. 17th, 2021. He was the beloved son of Ernest and Irene (Foster) Diers. He was preceded in death by his loving friend Kay Nary, two brothers Amos Diers and Paul Diers and his niece Karen Burt. He is survived by his brother Raymond Diers and his sister Linda Raner. He was a loving father to Shalin Diers Harrison and his son in law Ron Harrison, Tonya Bryant, Henry Diers, Jr. (Kim), Anthony Diers (Merry), Austie Lawrence (Stephen), and Dennis Lawrence (Rose). He was also a loving grandfather to Tara Sharp, Erika Marshall-Lopez, Victor Rosa (Heather), Damian Rosa (Brooke), Noah Greenman, Anthony (Tony) Diers, Miles Lawrence, Landon Lawrence, and one on the way. He was an amazing great-grandfather to Kaylynn Lopez and Donavin Marshall, Victor Rosa IV, Damian Rosa, Jr, and one on the way. He also loved his many nephews and nieces. He was married to Vicky (Nary) Gratton and later married Elizabeth Lawrence. He worked almost 40 years at Falconer/ Lexington/ Premier Tool and Diecasting of Lakewood, NY. What he enjoyed most was spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed talking on the phone with his niece Pauline (Howie) Jackson and brother Ray. He loved music, movies, playing horseshoes, cards, going to the casino, playing Cribbage with his sister Linda and camping and hanging out with his best friends Johnny and George. He enjoyed spending time and participating in activities with all of the children. He will be sorely missed by so many more people than we can name. A celebration of life will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2021 at the Den Adelsman's Club on Salisbury Rd., Gerry, NY.
