Obituary of Jeffrey L. Duink

Jeffrey L. Duink, 69, of Tanglewood Manor, 560 Fairmount VE. Jamestown, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 17, 2021, at his residence. Area resident for most of his life he was born May 19, 1952, in Jamestown, NY, a son of Phyllis A. Eklund Duink and the late Kenneth L. Duink. Jeffrey was a graduate of Sherman Central School and earned his bachelor's degree in English from the State University of New York at Geneseo. He will be remembered as one loved to read books and spend time writing. Surviving is his mother, Phyllis A. Duink of Jamestown, a sister: Wanda K. Cochrane of North East, PA, a brother: Darryl (Chris) Duink of Hamburg, NY, a niece: Stacy Duink of Buffalo, NY, a nephew: Chad Cochrane of Bow, NH, two great nieces: Rorie and Sawyer Cochrane, a great nephew: Cole Cochrane all of Bow, NH, as well as several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth L. Duink who died June 2, 2009. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed. Inurnment will be in the Sherman Cemetery. Memorials may be made to library of your choice.
