Obituary of Gladys S. Parker

Gladys S. Parker, 57, of Jamestown, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 in the Olean General Hospital. She was born November 13, 1963 in Olean, NY, a daughter of the late John and Greeta Gray Parker, and was a graduate of Maple Grove Jr Sr High School Gladys was a devoted homemaker to her children who loved her family deeply. She had attended Fluvanna Community Church. Surviving are four children: David Badgley, Christina Lanphere (Lucas), Robert McAdoo (Nekeisha), and Jeffrey Parker, all of Jamestown; eight grandchildren: Kayla, Dylan, Leah, Mason and Emilia, Liam and Elliott, and Zaine; her three siblings: John Parker, Michelle Parker and Steven Parker, all of Jamestown; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Dayle F. Keefer will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service, from noon until 1 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. The family asks that memorial contributions to help defray funeral costs be made directly to the funeral home.
