Obituary of Jennifer Bachelor-Phelps

Jennifer Bachelor-Phelps, 40, of Celoron, NY, passed away unexpectedly at 6:14 am Friday, February 18, 2022, in her home. A lifelong area resident, she was born April 9, 1981, in Jamestown, NY a daughter of Sherry Cirrito and the late Gregory L. Bachelor. Jennifer was a 2001 graduate of Southwestern Central School. She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife and mother who also loved taking care of animals. Jennifer also had a keen interest in collecting crystals. Surviving besides her mother is her husband of 19 years, Isaac E. Phelps whom she married February 22, 2003, her son, Payton G. Phelps of Celoron, NY and her sister, Lisa Woodmansee of Lakewood, NY. She is also survived by her uncle and aunt, Gary and Marcia Bachelor of Celoron, NY. She was preceded in death by her father, Gregory L. Bachelor who died August 25, 2020. The funeral will be held at 11 am Thursday, February 24, 2022, in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Childs, pastor of the Lakewood United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service on Thursday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to an animal shelter of your choice.
