Obituary of Judith P. D'Angelo

Judith P. D'Angelo, 77, of Jamestown, passed Friday April 1, 2022, in UPMC Chautauqua surrounded by her loving family. A native of Warren, PA, she was born April 7, 1944, a daughter of the late William Ponsoll and Vivian Anderson Terry. She was a 1962 graduate of Warren Area High School. She was employed by Hite Company, Lakewood Yacht Club and Wegmans but is best remembered as co-proprietor of Eats Café and The Grog Shop with her former husband Pete Parla. Judy had a quick wit and positive attitude who had the gift of hospitality and always wanted to help others. In her earlier years she was a member of The Little Theatre of Jamestown, Downtown Business Association, PTA and Pallative Care. She was a member of Holy Apostles Catholic Church. She loved being with her grandchildren, as they gave her such smiles and joy. She was so grateful for the wonderful family of friends she had over the years. Surviving is two daughters Lisa Parla Loeb and Keri (Vito) Granata; stepdaughter Erin (Grazie) DiPaolo; grandchildren Tess Coughlin, Gabrielle and Zoe Loeb and Marco and Ava Granata; step grandchildren Luca, Leo and Adrianna DiPaolo and nieces and nephews Sal and Chuck Search, Jim (Denise) Agnew, Julie (Greg) Dalton, Adam (Allison) Parla and Audrey (Neal) Young and several nephews and so many wonderful friends. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved son in law Patrick Coughlin; two sisters Susan Madura and Cindi Agnew and a brother C. Scott Terry.
