Obituary of Ann L. Lamp

Ann V. Lamp, 90, of Jamestown, NY, passed away peacefully at 11:10 am Sunday, May 1, 2022, in the Heritage Village Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility, Gerry, NY, with family by her side. A lifelong area resident, she was born January 23, 1932, in Jamestown, NY, a daughter of the late Louis E. and Josephine Pollaro Vrusho. She was a member of the St. Luke's Episcopal Church and was active in many church activities including the Bishop Overs Guild and served as church school secretary for many years. She was also a member of the Home Bureau where she enjoyed sewing and doing crafts with her friends. Surviving are her two children: Kathleen (Mac) Macaluso of McKean. PA, Mark (Pamela) Lamp of Nashville, TN, four grandchildren: Courtney (Chad)) Sterrett of Fairview, PA, Kyle (Sara) Macaluso of Columbus, OH, Greg (Katie) Lamp of Boulder, Co, Jeff (Catherine) of Nashville, TN, and two great grandchildren: Samantha Dore and Charlotte Lamp. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Robert J. Lamp whom she married July 4, 1953, and who died March 3, 2021, and a sister, Martha V. Johnson who died February 26, 2017. A memorial service will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church at a later date to be announced by the Lind Funeral Home.
