Obituary of Kim A. Dineen

Kim A. Dineen, 57, of 61 Pershing Avenue, died Monday August 1, 2022, in her home surrounded by family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Her determination and fortitude to defeat this disease over the last 6 years is awe inspiring. Her will to stay with us will always be a shining beacon to guide her family throughout their lives. A Jamestown native, she was born May 11, 1965, a daughter of R. James Jarrett and Connie Ciancio Jarrett Fahey. She was a 1983 graduate of Jamestown High School and later earned a degree from Bauder School of Fashion Design. She was employed by the law firm of Burgett and Robbins as a legal secretary. For many years she was involved on various committees of Junior Miss Scholarship Program. Her life revolved around family especially her daughters' activities. She was constantly stepping in to volunteer her time in support of anything her girls did. Second to her family was her love of the beach with her toes in the sand and the sun shining on her face. Surviving is her loving husband Steven Dineen, whom she married October 21, 1989; two daughters Kylie (Jordan) Coccagnia and Madison Dineen both of Jamestown; two sisters Tammy (Kurt) Johnson of Jamestown and Tracy Fardink of Ashville; three nephews Nicholas Fardink and Colin and Kaden Johnson; her mother Connie Fahey and her father and stepmother R. James and JoAnn Jarrett of Frewsburg. She was preceded in death by step-father Richard Fahey grandparents Anthony and Annie Ciancio and Reuben and Mildred Jarrett; father in law and mother in law Francis and Anne Dineen and uncle Dr. Sebastian Ciancio.
