June A. Brown, 89, formerly of 9 Crane St. Jamestown, NY, has changed her address and now lives in Heaven. June passed away at 5:30 am Monday, September 12, 2022, in the Dunkirk Rehab and Nursing Center, Dunkirk, NY. She was born May 6, 1933, to the late Raymond and Ethel E. Pickwell Wolfe of Wilkes Barre, PA. She was married to John DiDomenico from 1949 until 1968 and had six children and was preceded in death by Lidia who died in 1950, Samuel Ray who died in 2018, and Johns who died in 2022. Surviving are her three children: Gary (Barbara) DiDomenico of Jamestown, NY, Valerie Grist of Benicia, CA, Scott (Vickie) DiDomenico of Oklahoma City, OK, her stepchildren: Randy and Brian Brown. She was a grandmother to 9 grandchildren and a great grandmother of 5 great grandchildren and had many nieces and nephews. In 1973, she married the love of her life, Charles W. Brown. They were married for 42 wonderful years. Sadly, Charles passed away in 2015. Before her retirement she was employed by the former A&P Market and the former Pearson's Market, as a cashier. Charlie and she worked for the Falconer Central School System, he as a bus driver and June as a bus aide extraordinaire. One of her proudest moments was when she won 1st place in the NY TOPS weight loss contest. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, bus aide, friend, and most importantly a faithful Christian. She attended the Koinonia Christian Fellowship. Her faith was most important to her, and she loved worshiping her Lord. In previous years she attended the former Weakland Chapel (Community Chapel) where she was a self-taught organist and adult Sunday school teacher. She attended the Chautauqua Day Care Center for many years and loved her many friends. The family will be present to receive friends from 10 am to Noon on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, in the Lind Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service to be held at 1:30 pm Wednesday at the Koinonia Christian Fellowship Church on the Peck Settlement Rd. The Rev. Ron Lemon will officiate. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery following the service. Memorials may be made to the Koinonia Christian Fellowship P.O. Box 44, Frewsburg, NY 14738.
