Obituary of Annette Trout

Annette Y. Carlson Trout, formerly of 211 Broadhead Avenue, Jamestown, passed away peacefully Friday September 30, 2022, with her family by her side. An area resident all her life, she was born May 31, 1939, in Jamestown, NY to Gordon and Alberta Warner Carlson. She attended Southwestern High School. Annette worked for the Jamestown Police Department as a meter maid, and for the Jamestown Lounge Company. She found her calling working for R.Q. Anderson taking care of their home for more than 30 years. Before her retirement she worked as a bus aide and loved all the children she met and attended too. Annette is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Homer Trout, her daughter Beth, stepdaughter Gloria and stepson John, brother Gordy, seven grandchildren, Chad, Holly Lucus, Mari, Taylor, Raylyn and Kaitlyn, eight great grandchildren, Ty, Brody, Addison, Carson, Ryker, Hailen, Haven, and E’Leeana, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her loving Cocker Spaniel, Chloe. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Merrill and daughter Denise. The funeral will be held at 2 pm Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 12-2 and 6-8 pm Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home.
