Obituary of Linda M. Moran

Linda M. Moran, 54, of 43 Vinnie Street, died Monday November 28, 2022, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. A Jamestown native, she was born August 21, 1968, daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine Rizzo Grasso. A 1987 graduate of Jamestown High School, she was employed by Kay Jewelers as a sales associate for 22 years. She was a faithful follower of St. James Catholic Church. Linda was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother (Nonna). Her grandchildren were her pride and joy; she spent much of her time finding different ways to express her love and spoil her grandchildren as often as possible. She loved and enjoyed being a dog mom to Cocoa, Bandit, Bella, and Caine. She also enjoyed gardening and visiting with friends and family as often as possible. Surviving is her devoted husband Michael Moran, who she married June 10, 1994; two daughters Jennifer Moran of Buffalo and Morgan Moran of Jamestown; three granddaughters Elise and Anna Johnson of Buffalo and Sophia Napolillo of Jamestown; three sisters Amy Grasso, Camille Grasso and Lisa Grasso (Jim Mee) all of Jamestown; mother-in-law Janice Moran, brother and sister-in-law Bruce and Sue Moran of Lakewood; nieces and nephews Kyle and Katelyn Moran, Eddie and Elisa Sundquist, Michael Bova, Michelle (Phil) Benedetto, Jennifer (Michael) Soprano, Micaela Cleveland, Mitchell Costanzo, Nathan Pike and great nephews Nicholas Soprano and Jianni Costanzo. She was preceded in death by her mother May 17, 1992; father February 28, 2007; and twin sister Patricia Bova May 17, 2018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Monday in St. James Catholic Church. Entombment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Falconer. Friends will be received from 1-4 pm Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home.
