Obituary of Linda C. Reinhardt

With children by her side, Linda Cheryl Keith Reinhardt, age 76 of Jamestown, NY passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022. She was born in Westfield, NY on February 20,1946, the daughter of Lynn and Helen Mount Keith. A 1964 graduate of Westfield Academy and she also attended Bryant & Stratton College in Buffalo, NY. Prior to her retirement years, she was employed by SKF/MRC Bearings in the Final Inspection Division. There she served as a union steward to protect the rights of employees. She was also employed for several years by Jamestown Public Schools as a library aide at Samuel G. Love Elementary School. She was very involved with the Love School community as a volunteer and served many terms as president of the PTSA. Additionally, she volunteered with the Salvation Army as an advocate for women surviving domestic violence and sexual abuse. Alone, she raised four children and always found time to be an important part of their lives. Linda had a sweet tooth and enjoyed both baking and cooking meals for friends and family. Her specialties were chocolate chip cookies, pecan bars and monkey bread. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by two sisters, Janice Heuser of Buffalo, NY, and Priscilla "Sally" Carr of Kenmore, NY, and a nephew Mark Heuser of Buffalo, NY. She will continue to live each day through her surviving family of David (Tamu) Reinhardt of Jamestown, Laura (Gary) Greenwood of Wake Forest, NC, Jay Reinhardt of Colorado Springs, CO, and Jeffrey (Amy) Reinhardt of Bemus Point, NY. After her retirement she spent as much times as possible with her five grandchildren, Olivia Reinhardt of Buffalo, NY, Jenna Greenwood of Chapel Hill, NC, Natalie Reinhardt of Jamestown, NY, Jacob Reinhardt of Bemus Point, NY and Nathan Reinhardt of Bemus Point, NY. She also leaves behind several nephews and nieces. Friends and family will be received from 6-8 pm Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
