Obituary of Eva Ditonto
Eva Ditonto, 96, of Chautauqua, NY, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at the Greenfield Health & Rehabilitation Center in Lancaster, NY.
She was the wife of Alexander Ditonto whom she married in Frankfort, Germany on November 8, 1954.
Eva was born June 26, 1926 in Dresden, Saxony, Germany, the daughter of the late Gerhard Wagner and Eleanor Josephine Langhammer Wagner. Eva's father died when she was very young and she was raised by her mother and her stepfather, the late Kurt Kunze.
Along with her husband, Alex, surviving are their three children: Michael (Elizabeth) Ditonto of Orchard Park, Karen (Roy) Glosser of Mayville, and Valerie (Greg) Mulgrave of Frankfort, KY; as well as three grandchildren: Cameron Glosser, Alexa Ditonto, and Mikaela Ditonto.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Wolfgang Kunze.
A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced by the Lind Funeral Home.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Chautauqua Fire Department, 2 Royal Way, Mayville, NY 14722.
