Obituary of Rosa L. Lamper

Rosa L. Lamper, 54, of Jamestown, NY, passed away unexpectedly in her home Saturday May 13, 2023. She was born April 1, 1969, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the daughter of the late Angel Bristol and Kay Schreck. She was a graduate of Jamestown High School, while in high school she enjoyed swimming, winning many ribbons. Following graduation from high school she went on to graduate from Raphael's School of Beauty in 1988, returning to school and graduating from Jamestown Business School in 1996. Rosa was a self-employed beautician for most of her career. During her career as a beautician, she also explored other adventures which include, working with children at the Randolph Academy, Administrative Assistant at Lutheran Social Services, Drove truck for Heil trucking, Northwest Savings Bank in Youngsville, and The Resource Center as a DSP and SDA. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family along with traveling to the ocean and exploring new places. She spent many summers at the beach searching for sea glass. She enjoyed coaching youth soccer when her children were younger. Surviving are three children: Jenna Bristol (Evan Eddy) of Jamestown, Morgan Lamper of Frewsburg, and Cristofer Bristol-Johnson of Mooresville NC; five grandchildren: Ryan Eddy, Kayla Eddy, Jayda Eddy, Jace Eddy, and Grayson Brinkley. Her Brother Angelo Bristol (Renee Denson) of Jamestown NY and Scott Millonzi of WA. Nephew, Andreas Bristol. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her late husband George Lamper. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Saturday June 24, 2023, in Lind Funeral Home, where friends will be received one hour prior to the service.
