Obituary of Cindy L. Bergman

Cindy L. Bergman, 56, of 125 Harvard Street, died Sunday February 1, 2015, in her home following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 10, 1958, in Jamestown, a daughter of the late John and Marian Lindstrom Zdunski. She worked alongside her mother at the former Pearson's Meat market and was also employed for several years by Thule Lodge as a cook. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. Surviving are her husband Gary Bergman, whom she married July 9, 1977; two daughters Kimberly (Eugene) Johnson of Mansfield, OH and Kelly (Ameir Glover) Bergman of Jamestown; two grandchildren Xavier Perry and Jaleiya Glover, both of Jamestown; her sister and best friend Sally (George) Koons of Jamestown and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Michael Zdunski and an infant grandson Demarius Bergman. The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Dennis W. Mende will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
