Obituary of Marcia F. Rambacher

Marcia F. Rambacher, 62, a lifetime resident of Bemus Point, NY, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2015, as she entered the home of her Lord with great expectations and excitement. Marcia was born June 5, 1952 in Jamestown, NY a daughter of Sophie M. Evanczik Korcyl and the late Stanley J. Korcyl. She was a 1970 graduate of Maple Grove Jr.-Sr. High School and following graduation had worked at the Weber-Knapp Company for seven years. She then took some time off to have her three beautiful children, then preceded to work for 30 years at the Maple-Grove Jr.-Sr. High School. There she worked as a teacher's aide, librarian assistant and attendance officer. Her kindness, smile and caring for her fellow workers drew people toward her. Marcia was a devoted active member of the Lakeside Bible Chapel in Bemus Point for 34 years. She was very loved at the church and gave her love to all her brothers and sisters of the Lord Jesus Christ. Marcia was a very special friend to many people. She belonged to the Bemus Point Fire Department Auxiliary and the Maple Grove High School Sports Boosters. She contributed her time and energy in getting the lights installed on the athletic field at Maple Grove in 1996. She loved watching her daughter perform her cheerleading skills and her boys playing in high school and college sports. She also has had the thrill of watching her six grandchildren turning into great kids. The Lord used Marcia with his miracles and inspiration as a carrier to lead many people to him. She touched so many people with faith, optimism, endurance and her fight to win this game, which made her the best athlete of life. Her 17 year battle with this horrific cancer didn't change her attitude about her love of family, friends, her co-workers and staff at Maple Grove High School. Marcia leaves behind a family and a community who mourns her loss, while celebrating her eternal life in Heaven. She leaves behind her mother Sophie M. Korcyl of Bemus Point, her loving husband of 41 years, Martin Kim Rambacher, whom she married July 28, 1973, her three children, Danielle C. (Peter) McKnight of Mathews, NC, Ryan T. (Katie) Rambacher of Jamestown, NY, Jordan (Ardelle) Rambacher of Bemus Point, NY, her six beautiful grandchildren, Alexandria Whittenberger, Colby McKnight both of Mathews, NC, Michael and Mathew Rambacher both of Jamestown, Savannah and Keaton Rambacher both of Bemus Point, three sisters, Lorraine (Angelo) Alaimo of Bemus Point, Suzanne E.
