Obituary of Lynn M. Coan

Lynn M. Bundy Coan, 51, of 229 Prospect St. Jamestown, departed to be with the Lord at 1:20 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2015, in her home following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born August 1, 1964 in Jamestown, NY a daughter of the late C. Clinton Bundy and Patricia A. Zuk Bundy. Lynn was a 1982 graduate of Jamestown High School and had attended Jamestown Business College. Prior to her illness, she was a senior typist for the Chautauqua County Department of Child Protective Service where she worked for 17 years. In earlier years she had worked for the Lloyd and Company. She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and sister who loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, cheering on the Buffalo Bills, having barbecues and most of all loved being a grandma. She was also a member of the Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association. Surviving are her husband of 14 years, Timothy J. Coan whom she married January 27, 2001, three daughters, Nicole (Vince) Boudrieau of Thornton, CO, Brandy Anzalone of Woodruff, SC, Angie Anzalone of North Pinellas Park, FL , a granddaughter, Amelia Lynn Boudrieau, four sisters, Lisa Bundy of Jamestown, Colleen Swift of Bolivar, NY, Denise (Tim) Elliott of Genesee, PA, Karen Baumgardner of Friendship, NY, a nephew, Tristian Holland of Thornton, CO, her father-in-law Jim (Shelly DePonceau) Coan of Ashville, NY, and a sister-in-law Michaela (Greg) Britt of Frewsburg, NY. She was preceded in death by her father who died in October 5, 2015 and her mother who died June, 30, 2008. The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2015, in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Dennis W. Mende, pastor of the Holy Apostles Parish will officiate. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery, Centralia, NY. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2015, in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice Chautauqua County, 20 West Fairmount Ave. Lakewood, NY 14750. The family would like to invite family and friends to the Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association Club following the service to continue to celebrate her life.
