Obituary of Robert E. Hutley

Robert E. Hutley, Sr., 84, of 4220 Miller Hill Road, Russell, PA, died Sunday, December 13, 2015, in John Blair Hospice House, Warren, PA. He was born May 1, 1931, in Jamestown, a son of Henry and Dorothy Abbott Hutley. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving with a combat camera crew from 1950-54. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Cummins Jamestown Engine Plant as a machinist. He was a member of Thule Lodge, Jamestown Moose Lodge and War Vets Recreation. Surviving is a daughter, Deborah (Merlin) Crandall of Flowery Branch, Georgia; two sons, Richard W. Hutley of Russell, PA; Robert E. (Janet) Hutley Jr. of Sugar Grove, PA; nine grandchildren; Jeanette (Jeremy) Crandall Pirkle, Keith (Renee') Crandall, Jared (Delana) Crandall, Joseph Hutley, Michael Hutley, Cameron Hutley, Erin (Steve) Yokum, Hannah (Adam Watson) Hutley, Carrie (Jake) Chase; 10 great grandchildren; Jackson and Jameson Pirkle, Mikayla, Parker, and Elizabeth Crandall, Mavyn and Caiden Hutley, Jacob and Emily Yokum, Archer Watson and a sister-in-law Priscilla Hutley of Falconer. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma McFarland Hutley, whom he married April 10, 1952 and who died April 25, 2015; a sister Lois Olson and two brothers William and Raymond Hutley. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Daniel S. Rumfelt will officiate. Burial will be in Foster Cemetery, Russell, PA.
