Obituary of Lydia R. DeAngelo

Lydia R. DeAngelo, 88, of Jamestown, died Friday December 18, 2015, in Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing. A lifelong Jamestown resident, she was born April 10, 1927, a daughter of the late Frank and Irene Nicosia Restivo. She attended Jamestown High School and had worked for Sears for several years as a bookkeeper. She was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church. Surviving is a son Marion "Mike" (Sandy) DeAngelo of Hernando, FL; three grandsons Michael (Jennifer) DeAngelo of Rhode Island, Mark (Renae) DeAngelo of Scotia, NY and Jonathan (Denise) DeAngelo of Jamestown and seven great grandchildren Laurynn, Lydia, Bella, Olivia, JonMichael, Siena and Luke as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Michael DeAngelo, whom she married January 12, 1945 and who died December 10, 2010, a son Frank DeAngelo and a daughter-in-law Brenda DeAngelo. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum. Friends will be received from 3-6 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
