Obituary of Alex George Gregory Foulk

Alex George Gregory Foulk, 26, of 3049 Curtis Street, Extension, died unexpectedly Friday February 26, 2016, in his home. A lifelong Jamestown resident, he was born October 4, 1989, a son of Don Foulk and Kimberly Carlson. He was a 2008 graduate of Jamestown High School and had attended Jamestown Community College. He was employed by New Directions in Randolph as a youth counselor and earlier had worked for his family business Robo Enterprises, Inc. A multi-sport athlete he played JAYS soccer, baseball, football, junior golf at Moon Brook and South Hills Country Clubs and hockey with CCYHA, Ed Shults Adult League and the Jamestown Jets. Alex had a love for life which he showed through his big heart and wonderful smile. Surviving are his mother of Kennedy; father of Jamestown; two sisters Aleida (Jason Basile) Foulk of Jamestown and Kasie Foulk of Jamestown; step father Lee Harkness of Kennedy; step mother Diane Foulk of Jamestown; grandparents George and Kim Carlson of Lauderdale By the Sea, FL, Greg and Eleanor Thorsell of West Ellicott and Dottie and Casey Thomas of Panama; niece Penelope Eleanor Basile of Jamestown; aunts and uncles Carrie and Brian Ernewein of Spring, TX, Troy Carlson of Boca Raton, FL, Corey Schmitt of Lauderdale By the Sea, Larry and Sulma Foulk of Angola, NY and Kristen Terrio of Barnstable, MA and a large extended family. He was preceded in death by grandparents Bernice and Ed Foulk and great grandparents Martha and Henry Stone and Dorothy and Alden Carlson. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday in Fellowship Hall of First Presbyterian Church.
