Obituary of Destiny Ann Swanson

Destiny Ann Hawley Swanson, 52 of 275 Baker Street Jamestown, passed away unexpectedly Thursday April 14, 2016 in WCA Hospital from complications of surgery. A lifelong area resident, she was born January 17, 1964 in Westfield, NY the daughter of Larry and Carol Cudny Hawley. Destiny attended Clymer and Mayville Schools and was employed as a caregiver at Willcare. She was a kind and generous person who loved her work caring for others. She was loved by all of her clients. Destiny also loved animals and would take in any animal in need of a home. Her three cats and bird thought she was their mother. Surviving are her mother Carol (Lawrence) Post of Stockton, NY; her companion and friend of 16 years James Robertson; two brothers, Jeff (Jennifer) Hawley of Cochranton, PA; Robert Post of Odessa, TX; her uncle Eugene (Maxine) Cudny of Erie, PA; her aunt Irene (Dean) Fenno of Corry, PA; two nephews, Jeffrey and Chad Hawley; a niece Mackenzie Hawley; and several friends including her special friend Nancy, who was like a sister. She was preceded in death by her father Larry Hawley and her grandparents. A memorial service will be announced at a later date by the Lind Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society 2825 Strunk Road, Jamestown, NY 14701.
