Obituary of Dorothy H. Carlson

Dorothy H. Carlson, 94, formerly of 204 Palmer Street and 2271 Summit Blvd, passed away peacefully Wednesday September 21, 2016, in Jamestown. She was born November 6, 1921, in Buffalo, the daughter of the late Guy and Verna Dott Keech Raymond. She enjoyed various kinds of hand work including knitting, sewing and needlepoint. Surviving are three children Wayne Carlson of Dallas, TX, Candace L. Carlson of Jamestown and Tamara Matlock of Conneaut, OH and two grandsons Kenneth and Kevin Furcron. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Fritz Carlson, whom she married October 24, 1940 and who died January 22, 1989; a twin daughter Terry Furcron in 2004 and her dog Daisy. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Daniel Nagle will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
