Obituary of Priscilla M. Watters

Priscilla M. Watters, 74, of Brocton, passed away at Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie, Tuesday February 13, 2024. She was born September 21, 1949, in Jamestown, NY. The daughter of the late Thomas W. "Coach" and Angeline "Dee" (Carmen) Cusimano. She was a 1967 graduate of Jamestown High School and continued her education with an associate degree at Jamestown Community College, a bachelor's degree at Oneonta State College and obtained her Master of Education degree from SUNY Potsdam. She was an educator by trade and teaching came naturally. Priscilla was a kind and generous person, always giving to others around her and trying to empower the young minds of the many children who were lucky enough to sit at a desk in her classroom. She was an educator for the Colton, NY School district before moving to Brocton where she taught for over 24 years. In her free time, she loved baking out of her many recipe books, creating beautiful crafts, and was a member of the Eta Phi Beta Sorority. More than anything she loved spending time with family. Surviving is her husband of over 53 years, Harry Watters; her two sons Matthew (Erin) Watters and Marcus (Johnna) Watters; five grandchildren: Garrett, Chloe, Wyatt, Juliette, and Gianna; two brothers Thomas (Jungsil) Cusimano and Russell (Terri) Cusimano; brother-in-law Larry (Suezanne) Watters and sister-in-law Jeanie Watters; nieces and nephews: Kara Cusimano, Thomas Cusimano III, Kellie O'Donnell, Tricia Cusimano, Nicole Harmon, and Dana Kitsock. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother-in-law Robert Watters. The funeral will be held at 12 pm Saturday at the Lind Funeral Home. Friends and family will be received from 10 am to 12 pm prior to the service in the funeral home. In her giving nature, memorials may be made to the charity of your choosing or leave a kind word of condolence at www.lindfuneralhome.com.
