Obituary of Brian L. Gustafson

Brian Gustafson, 83, of Jamestown, passed away Sunday March 3, 2024, in his home. He was born June 4, 1940, in Jamestown, NY, the son of the late Harry and Irene Johnson Gustafson. Following High School, he enlisted into the U.S. Air Force and served from 1960 to 1964. Before his retirement, he worked at AVM along with a machinist at SKF-MRC Bearing Co. After retirement, He drove for Rocket and worked at SAMS club. Brian enjoyed his pets and spending time with his family. He was a joy to be around with a great sense of humor. Surviving is his wife Donna Romp Gustafson; his two daughters: Debora (Jeffrey) Johnson of Gerry, NY, Kathy (Richard) Heitman of Jamestown; 8 grandchildren: Jennifer Greenman, Carl Calabrese, Jeffrey Johnson II, Dusty Johnson, Richard Heitman Jr, Steven Heitman, Kristina Whitt, and Bryan Allen; 11 great-grandchildren. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son Raymond Allen; his 4 brothers: Harry Gustafson, George Gustafson, Jack Gustafson, and Jimmy Gustafson. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm in the Lind Funeral Home.
