Obituary of Vincent J. Consiglio, Jr.

Vincent J. Consiglio, Jr., 57, of 44 Roland Rd. passed away at 8:45 a.m. Monday (December 21, 2009) in the Lutheran Home and Rehabilitation Center following a lengthy illness. A lifelong area resident he was born August 7, 1952 in Jamestown, NY a son of the late Vincent J. and Arasma Musso Consiglio, Sr. He was a 1972 graduate of Jamestown High School Prior to his retirement due to ill health, he was a salesman for Ed Shults Subaru Mazda for 25 years. In earlier years he worked as a service manager for Sears. He was a member of the Holy Apostles Parish at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. He had a keen interest in cars and was a collector of die-cast cars. He loved spending time with his friends from the Tim Horton's Coffee Gang and was a NASCAR and New York Yankee fan. Surviving are his wife the former Martha J. Moran whom he married May 1, 1976, a daughter Jamie L. Consiglio, a son Jasyn J. Consiglio both of Jamestown, a sister Gerri (Sebastian) Mazzurco, two brothers Samuel Consiglio, Frank (Faith) Consiglio all of Jamestown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in Holy Apostles Parish at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Dennis W. Mende, pastor will be celebrant. Burial will be in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home where a Christian Wake Service will be led by Rev. Mende at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday.
