Obituary of Joshua John Larson

Joshua John Larson, 32, of Buffalo, NY formerly of Jamestown, died unexpectedly on Tuesday (March 8, 2011) in De Pere, WI while on a business trip. He was born June 15, 1978 in Jamestown the son of Mark A. Larson and Sherri D. Ellis. Joshua was a 1996 graduate of Jamestown High School and received his B.S. in Business Administration from SUNY Buffalo in 2001. He was employed as a Social Compliance Auditor for Accordia Global Compliance in Williamsville, NY. Joshua loved music, cooking, golf, traveling, and dining out. He was always exploring new restaurants and loved "food writing" about his experiences. He enjoyed time spent with family, especially his twin brother, Jason. Surviving are his father of Jamestown; his mother of Davenport, IA; two brothers, his twin, Jason Larson of Buffalo; Matthew Ewing of Meridian, ID; three sisters, Gabrielle Ewing of Jamestown; Katie Ewing of Davenport, IA; DeAnna Marsh Ballou of Little Rock, AR; and his grandmother, Florence Larson of Jamestown. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John W. "Jack" Larson. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday March 12, 2011 in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Drew Ludwig will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Friday March 11, 2011 in the funeral home.
