Obituary of Lois A. Liuzzo

Lois A. Liuzzo, 84, of 9238 Troon Lakes Dr. Naples, FL formerly of Jamestown, NY passed away Monday (March 28, 2011) in the North Collier Hospital, Naples, FL. A lifelong area resident she was born February 21, 1927 in Jamestown, NY a daughter of the late F. Albert and Florence Nelson Munson. She was a graduate of Jamestown High School and had attended Jamestown Business College and Drexel University. She was a communicant of Holy Apostles Parish at St. John Catholic Church and while living in Florida she was a member of the St. John Evangelist Catholic Church in Naples, Fl. Before her retirement she was a real estate broker associated with her husband in Eagle Sales Realty in Jamestown. She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed many years of traveling with her husband. Surviving are her husband of 59 years John C. Liuzzo whom she married November 22, 1951, a daughter Rita (Tom) Buchan of Columbus, OH, two sons Mark Liuzzo of Lowell, Mass. and Paul (Jennifer) Liuzzo of Jamestown, NY, five grandchildren T.J. Buchan, Kevin Buchan both of Dublin, OH, Andrea Liuzzo, Hannah Liuzzo both of Salem, NH and Anna Liuzzo of Jamestown. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a son John A. Liuzzo who died October 6, 1975. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday in Holy Apostles Parish at St. John Catholic Church. The Rev. Dennis W. Mende, pastor will be celebrant. Burial will be in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home where a Christian Wake Service will be led at 1:45 p.m. Sunday.
