Obituary of A.I. Vivian North

A.I. Vivian North, 94, 130 Hinton St. Clayton, NC formerly of W. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood, NY, passed away Tuesday (September 13, 2011) in the Duke University Medical Center, Durham, NC. A Jamestown area resident until her move to North Carolina in 1980, she was born April 9, 1917 in Youngsville, PA a daughter of the late Cooper and Judith Carlson. She was a graduate of Jamestown High School. Surviving are two daughters Judy (Bruce) Carlson of Lakewood, NY, Nancy (Terry) Seeley of Clayton, NC, six grandchildren David Herron, Tia Meadows both of Clayton, Randy Herron of Lakewood, Tracey Wright of Smithfield, NC, Terry Seeley, Jr. of Wade, NC, Debra Larsen of Celoron, twelve great grandchildren John Herron, Matthew Herron, Jennifer Meadows, Jessica Meadows, Buddy Meadows, Christopher Wright, Brandon Wright, Terry Seeley, III, Josh Reeves, Ryan Reeves, Adam Reeves, Heather Maher, ten great great grandchildren and a niece Lyle Beth Gates of Greenville, SC, all of whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Wilbur E. "Shrimp" North who died June 14, 2009 and an infant grandson Michael Herron. Funeral services were held in North Carolina and she will be laid to rest next to her husband and infant grandson in Sunset Hill Cemetery, overlooking peaceful Chautauqua Lake.
