Obituary of Judith A. Vining

Judith A. Vining, 67, of 113 North Phetteplace Street, Falconer, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Monday October 3, 2011, in her home. She was born February 29, 1944, in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of the late Bernard John Passarelli and Catherine Genevieve Horrell Passarelli. She was a graduate of Jamestown Community College receiving a degree in nursing and was employed by Wellco as a registered nurse and case manager. She earlier was a longtime employee of Chautauqua Opportunities in the WIC Program. She was a member of Levant Wesleyan Church and its Global Missions Team. She was a founding director of Perm Mission Network and volunteered at Community Helping Hands. Her family will remember her love of God, warm hospitality and commitment to care for others. Surviving are two children Jeanne (Carl) Keller of Alpharetta, GA and James (Robyn) Vining of Wauwatosa, WI; three grandchildren Luke Carlson Keller of Alpharetta and James Jackson Vining and Beckley Elizabeth Vining both of Wauwatosa and three sisters Mary Jane (Wayne) Strong of North Chili, NY, Norma (Dale) Miller of Webster, NY and Christine (Dewayne) Feather of Pleasantville, PA. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by stepmothers Bessie Hancock and Roxanna Starry. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Levant Wesleyan Church. Rev. Howard E. Garver will officiate. Inurnment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Apollo, PA. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home.Memorials may be made to Overseas Missionary Fellowship International Equip India, Perm Mission Network or Community Helping Hands.
