Obituary of Randall A. Pike

Randall A. Pike, Sr., 57, of 5963 Niobe Road in Panama, died at 2:15 a.m. Thursday (November 17, 2011) surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 10, 1954 in Corry, PA and graduated from Panama High School in 1972. He was very proud of his country and enlisted in the US Marines, serving during the Vietnam War. Randy was employed by MRC-SKF for 31 years, retiring in July of this year due to ill health. A member of the Panama Fire Department, he also belonged to 4H, Abates, Lakewood Rod & Gun Club, the UAW and the NRA and in earlier years coached Little League baseball. Randy was an avid hunter and fisherman and especially enjoyed fishing with his friend, Captain Ron. He also loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren and will be sadly missed by all. Surviving is his wife, Judy Delahoy Pike, whom he married December 30, 1977; four children: Cassidy Pike of Jamestown, Michelle (Brian) Peterson of Niobe, Tonia (Aaron) Brown of West Ellicott and Randall (Nicole) Pike, Jr. of Niobe; six grandchildren: Carter, Dane and Harlee Morris, Michael and Rebekah Peterson, and Donavin Brown; as well as a sister and three brothers. He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Watson Pike. The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Kevin Hadley will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice Chautauqua County, 4H or the Panama Fire Department.
