Obituary of Terence R. Brentley

Terence R. Brentley, 67, of 30 Price Street, died Monday April 16, 2012, in WCA Hospital. He was born January 21, 1945 in Wolverhampton, England, a son of the late Cyril and Patricia Coyne Brentley. He was a 1964 graduate of Jamestown High School and later earned a bachelor's degree from Empire College. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served in the US Air Force from 1968-71. He had been employed by Truck-Lite as a quality control technician. His other career was as a bass player for several area bands. He was a communicant of Holy Apostles Parish, Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Church. His memberships include Henry Mosher Post 638 American Legion, Falconer, Robert W. Illig Chapter 47 Disabled American Veterans, Johns W. Tiffany Post 53 VFW, Thomas G. Stone Post 1996 AMVETS and Vietnam Veterans of America. Surviving are his wife the former Judith Paine, whom he married June 30, 1987, four daughters Vanessa Koch, Maureen Brentley, Barbara Baggiano and Angel Ormsby all of Jamestown; four grandchildren Brittany Baum, Robert Baum, Kyle Baggiano and Sabra Ormsby all of Jamestown and two brothers Kenneth Brentley and Dennis Brentley both of Jamestown. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. Deacon Samuel Pellerito will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
