Obituary of Maureen M Carlos

Maureen Margaret Carlos, 73, of 54 Matteson St. Fredonia, NY, formerly of Jamestown passed away at 8:13 p.m. Saturday (May 12, 2012) in the Lake Shore Hospital, Irving, NY. She was born December 20, 1938 in Johnson City, NY a daughter of the late Thadeus William and Margaret M. Scallon Carlos. Surviving are sister Mary Alice Carlos with whom she resided for many years in Fredonia, a brother William J. (Diane) Carlos of Greenhurst, NY, a nephew David DuBois of Bemus Point, NY and several cousins, Barbara S. Parlato, Margaret Corkery Erickson, Thomas Scallon, Kenneth Scallon and Sally Corkery who was very supportive over the years with her many acts of kindness. The family would also like to give thanks and gratitude to the staff of the Matteson Ave. home for their many years of caring and concern for Maureen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Apostles Parish at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Dennis W. Mende, pastor will be celebrant. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed. Memorials may be made to the Holy Apostles Parish, 508 Cherry St. Jamestown, NY 14701 or to a charity of one's choice.
