Obituary of Jacob W. Maynard

Jacob W. "Jake" Maynard, 32, of Jamestown formerly of Buffalo, died Saturday May 19, 2012. He was born March 12, 1980 in Buffalo. Jake is survived by his parents, John and Deborah Zogrephos; siblings, Jason King (Licia), Annette, Danny, Christa (Josh), Bekah, Abby, and Stephanie (Jeremy); his girlfriend, Laura Hess; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, all over the country. He was preceded in death by his father, Nelson Maynard. Jake, Jason, and Danny spent many hours enjoying the outdoors and nature. He loved to cook and travel. He aspired to be a chef someday and was looking forward to a life with the love of his life, Laura. Jake was loved by so many and will be remembered for his laugh, his sense of humor, his love of life, and his love for his family and friends, and his dog Pudge. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon Monday May 28, 2012 at the Jamestown Church of the Nazarene, 405 Howard Ave WE Jamestown, NY 14701. A luncheon will follow the service. Memorials may be made to the Jamestown Church of the Nazarene.
