Obituary of Beverly Jean Denardi (Spano)

Beverly Jean Denardi (Spano), 72, of Warren, PA, passed away surrounded by her children on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Warren Manor following a 16 month battle with scleroderma. She was born September 9, 1939 in Jamestown, NY, the daughter of the late Anthony and Ada Erickson Salupo. Beverly grew up in Jamestown, lived for a number of years in Warren and later Sheffield, and most recently resided at 7B Hertzel St. in Warren. She had been employed by the Sheffield VFW for 20 years and later by the Henry Mosher American Legion Post in Falconer. Beverly always enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and family, as well as going to the casino. She is survived by six children: Frankie Denardi of Sheffield, Shelly Denardi of Long Beach, CA, Dennis Denardi of Warren, Vincent (Debbie) Denardi of Edgewood, MD, Debra (Michael) Hecei of Warren and Sherri Denardi of Norfolk, VA; five grandchildren: Jenna Denardi and Danielle Berg, both of Tampa, FL, Shaley Williams of Warren, Christopher Denardi of Edgewood, MD and Robert (Michelle) Denardi of Fort Bragg, NC; a great-grandson, Alex Denardi; her ex-husband, Frank Denardi of Warren; several cousins and an aunt, Gladys Pierson of Sheffield; and her longtime, best friend, Lucille Genco of Jamestown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her second husband, Samuel Spano. The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Darrell G. Duffy, pastor of St. James Catholic Church, will officiate. Burial will be alongside her parents in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
