Obituary of Richard E. Anderson

Richard E. Anderson, 72, of 9 Crane St. Jamestown formerly of the Lutheran Retirement Home, Swede Rd. Ashville and Ft Myers, FL, passed away at 9:18 a.m. Saturday (January 5, 2013) in W.C.A. Hospital. He was born April 18, 1940 in Jamestown, NY a son of the late Arnold L. Anderson and Bessie Waite Kane. While living in Florida for many years he was head maintenance supervisor for the Edison Home in Ft. Myers, FL. Surviving are his children Michelle Gillis of Cape Coral, FL and Michael Anderson of North Ft. Myers, Fl, a sister Harriett Lank of Celoron, NY and a brother Alan Anderson of Willow Springs, NC. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Lyle Anderson. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
