Obituary of Salvatore Terenna

Salvatore "Sam" Terenna, 85, passed away peacefully Monday January 28, 2013 at Absolut at Westfield. He was born March 16, 1927 in Jamestown the son of the late Anthony and Nancy Portale Terenna Sr. Sam was a US Navy veteran. Prior to retirement, he was a construction worker employed by Laborers Local 600 for many years. Surviving are four daughters, Marilyn (Vincent) Gerace; Samilyn Olson; Lorilyn Terenna, all of Jamestown; Sherri Knight of Redding, CA; two sons, Joseph Terenna of Jamestown Matthew Terenna of CA; his grandchildren and great grandchildren and former wife and lifetime friend, Mary Rader of Jamestown. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Anderson; and two brothers, Anthony Terenna Jr., and Joseph Terenna. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
