Obituary of Beverly A. Geraci

Beverly A. Geraci, 80, of 514 Stowe St., died Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Heritage Park Rehab & Skilled Nursing. She was born April 14, 1932 in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Williams Burnett, and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1950. She had been employed as a switchboard operator for 25 years by the former Jamestown General Hospital and later by WCA Hospital. In earlier years a communicant of St. James Church, Beverly more recently belonged to St. John Church. A longtime member of the Englebert Humperdinck Fan Club, Beverly had attended many of his concerts throughout the years. She was also a big Elvis Presley fan and especially fond of her good friend, Sterling Pollaro, performing as Elvis over the years. Beverly will be remembered as a loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother and sister who never had a bad word to say about anyone. She was the sweetest woman you would ever want to meet. She is survived by her husband, John Geraci, Sr., whom she married January 2, 1954; a son, John Geraci, Jr. and daughter, Judy (Willis) Mohney, both of Jamestown; four grandchildren: John Geraci III, Melissa Geraci and Mary Mohney, all of Jamestown, and David Geraci of Texas; five sisters: Margaret Benson, Janice Indelicato, Patty Triscari and Linda (Steven) Peterson, all of Jamestown, and Lois (Frank) Erickson of Clymer; and a brother, Robert (Sylvia) Burnett of Jamestown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Burnett. A private family service will be held. Visitation will not be observed. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
