Obituary of Linda C. Carney

Linda C. Carney, 64, of 4058 Nutt Road, died Wednesday May 29, 2013, in her home. She was born February 6, 1949, in Marguerite, PA, a daughter of the late Paul "Gene" and Etta Wallace Fetters. She had been employed Cummins Engine Plant and earlier had worked for Chautauqua Hardware. She was a member of Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association, Lakewood-Celoron Moose Lodge and International Aerospace and Machinists Union. She enjoyed her weekly pinochle games, bingo and trips to the casino Surviving are her husband John Carney, whom she married March 21, 1981; three children Kenneth "Rick" (Rhonda) Adams, Kevin (Kathy) Adams and Keith (Nadine) Adams, all of Jamestown; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; a brother Paul (Maleia) Fetters of Jamestown and two aunts Nancy (Dale) Anderson of Jamestown and Shirley (Red) Baker of Franklinville, NY. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by an infant daughter Baby Girl Adams; three sisters Martha and Sarah Fetters and Virginia "Ginny" Olson and a brother Daniel Fetters. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. Pastor Phil Shay will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
