Obituary of Jeannette E. Romer

Jeannette E. Romer, 90, of 7 Highland Ave. Lakewood, died Monday July 1, 2013 in the Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born July 20, 1922 in Jamestown the daughter of the late C. Henry and Josephine Lindholm Anderson. Jeannette was a graduate of Jamestown High School and was a member of First Covenant Church. Surviving are two daughters, Brenda Seder of Russell, PA; Ruth Romer of Vienna, Austria; a son, Larry Romer of Lakewood; two grandchildren, Linda M. Feeny of Florida; Douglas R. Sager of PA; one great grandson; and two sisters, Dorice Hendrickson and Irene Miller, both of Jamestown. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Romer whom she married October 17, 1952 and who died March 26, 1998; two sisters, Bernice Danna; Beverly Anderson; and a brother, Charles Anderson. No funeral service or visitation will be observed. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society 2825 Strunk Road, Jamestown, NY 14701.
