Obituary of Catherine M. Trusso

Catherine M. Trusso, 56, of 23 W. Third Street, died Saturday July 6, 2013, in Buffalo General Hospital. She was born June 21, 1957, in Washington, DC, a daughter of Shirley Straight. She enjoyed crafting jewelry and was a gifted artist. She recently had one of her painting on display in Albany. Surviving besides her mother of Jamestown is her husband Michael Trusso, whom she married June 6, 2007; a sister Jaci (Mervin) Van Sickle of Jamestown; a niece Samantha (Brandon) Elder of Jamestown and close friends Nitasha Giambra (Brian Lackner)and Spencer LaDue, who she considered to be family. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Daniel Cook will officiate. Friends will be received in the Recreation Room of Covenant Manor following the service.
