Obituary of Gerald C. Carlson

Gerald C. Carlson, formerly of High Acres, Bemus Point, NY, passed away on July 12, 2013 at his residence in Golden, Colo. Gerald is preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Kent Carlson. He is survived by sons: Alan Carlson of Golden, Colo. and Steven Carlson of Jamestown, NY; daughter, Sheryl Jakober of Lakewood, Colo.; seven grandchildren; brothers: Frank Carlson of Frewsburg, NY, Roger Carlson of North Fort Myers, Fla., and Jim Bailey of Warren, Pa.; sisters: Judy Rossing of Frewsburg, NY, and Shirley Anderson of Frewsburg, NY. Gerald served in the U.S. Navy in World War II. He was an active member of Painters Union Local 43. Services will be held Saturday, July 20, 2013, at 11 a.m. in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Lakewood, NY. Memorial Donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
